Originally owned by Tinian Panaka, it was given to Rigel about a year ago. With a bounty out on them, Tinian "loaned" the Redshift to Rigel and went off the grid for a while, promising to return to claim it (or at least a big favour).
The Redshift Runner seems to have a certain amount of attitude and personality… which was eventually discovered to be the memory of 9-1B, a medical droid hiding information about several Rebel bases.
